I always believed in order to have a good, long-term relationship, you must be friends first. Most friends have similar likes and dislikes, interests, activities, hobbies, tastes and beliefs. I'm looking for that friend, that best friend, the one who will laugh with me when I'm happy, cry together when I'm sad or hurt, someone who enjoys quiet times at home, as well as the excitement of trips and travel. I'm looking for someone to share my life with, to share the downs as well as the ups. Someone who will accept me as me, and will be accepted as he is. I'm a home-body. I enjoy my home, and the privacy and seclusion of being alone, away from the world. My home is a place of sanctuary, where I can escape from the outside world. I do not like parties and crowds, I don't like entertaining guests. When at home, I want to spend time with my guy--cuddling on the couch watching campy horror films or laughing at some silly comedy, talking about dreams and hopes, playing games, or just watching tv. I'm a simple woman, I don't need fancy, just genuine and honest. I enjoy listening to music--mostly rock, metal & 80s hair bands. I'm an avid horror fan, especially zombie and werewolf films. My favorite tv show of all time was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Current faves ares Big Bang Theory (geeks are cute), CSI, NCIS, Survivor, Amazing Race, Hells Kitchen, Americas Got Talent, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Animal Cops.....the list goes on, lol. I read quite often, enjoying authors such as Laurell Hamilton, Dean koontz, Bentley Little, Stephen King, Terry Brooks and Anne Rice, although that list is by no means complete. I love animals, and have 4 black cats right now. I won't bore you here, but if you're interested, I'll be glad to tell you about them. I'd love to have another dog, preferrably a border collie or german shepard. I don't smoke, having quit nearly 20 years ago. I drink on occasion, and very seldom anything harder than wine. I am spiritual, but not religeous. I hate sports, outdoorsy things like hunting, fishing and camping, although I do like trips to places like Yellowstone--as long as I have a hotel room and NOT a tent! LOL Not sure what else to say...I like cooking. Enjoy amusement parks. Prefer mountains over the beach, winter over summer, evening over morning, Pepsi over Coke....well, I guess if you want to know anymore, just ask! Hope to hear from you soon.
